Beer in hand, a relaxed Amy Winehouse takes to the water for a Caribbean cruise
on 24th December 2008 Amy Winehouse looked relaxed and chilled out aboard a boat in the Caribbean, beer in hand, as she continued her holidays in St Lucia. The vessel was appropriately named Scuba Diva, though the recently ill singer didn't look like she'd recovered to be strapping on any oxygen tanks. She travelled to the sun-drenched island with her god-daughter Dionne Bromfield, 12, and her mother for the luxury holiday, and Amy, 25, paid for them all to travel first class. Curly-haired Amy, who has ditched her beehive for the holiday, has been in great form, and on the previous day was seen getting to know the locals.   Strike a pose: The singer and a friend order a drink before going to dinner The troubled singer posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans while visiting an outdoor festival. And then later on in the day, perhaps predictably, she hit a bar with a friend. Amy had been all smiles as she checked out the local art and jewellery before sitting on the ground to talk to some of her young fans. Dressed in denim shorts, a black string vest and a yellow bikini, then had dinner at a local seafood restaurant. Her supposed lover and friend Alex Haines has sold his story to a UK tabloid to make some easy cash, and while I'd take the descriptions of sex with a pinch of salt - these tabloid exposés always need graphic details, invented or otherwise - this is what he said about the Bond track:
Alex reveals how her spiralling problems cost her the chance to sing the theme tune to the new Bond film. He recalls: “Mark Ronson had prepared a backing track based on David Arnold’s Quantum Of Solace score. But when Amy heard it, she said, ‘I want a tune James Bond would dance to.
