Just last week, she denied that she was dating anyone - but Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough showed their love yesterday with a romantic stroll along the beach.
Wearing complementing white outfits, the couple chatted quietly as they soaked up the sun near their villa in Camps Bay, South Africa.
Their walk came after the X Factor judge, 26, and Dancing With The Stars professional, 26, shared their first public kiss at a New Year's Eve party.
Wearing a yellow satin asymmetrical dress at the bash, Cheryl had looked glowing and happy as she danced with Derek.
Hough has also reportedly bought the 27-year-old X Factor judge a Ł10,000 diamond bracelet as a love token.
Utah-born Hough whisked Cheryl away for a week-long break to mark the end of a year which the Girls Aloud star judge has described as 'the worst of my life' after she divorced from Ashley Cole and almost died from malaria following her visit to Tanzania six months ago.
She apparently jetted off with the dancer hours after she and ex Ashley swapped Christmas gifts.
And Chelsea star Ashley was reportedly left close to tears as Cheryl and Derek were snapped at a New Year's Eve bash together.
A source told The Sun: 'Ashley has realised things have moved on - and he is heartbroken.
The sad thing is that she used to be so INTERESTING, funny and dynamic, She's so watered down now.
I gotta agree....at one point she would just say anything she wanted and stand the consequences, now she seems very guarded in interviews. I suppose the press intrusion into her private life takes it's toll, and she has become a little scared of either revealing too much or saying the wrong thing.

I agree. I miss her in her early GA days when she was such a smart a$$. All I have now is to watch Off the Record to remember her in all her b*tchy splendor
