I think he's trying to focus on acting right now. I italicize trying because I have never seen him in anything remotely decent and the facebook movie that he did looks like utter crap.

but I commend him for wanting to be that Fred Astaire/Gene Kelly type. He just needs a LOT more work

I haven't seen him in anything besides the Facebook movie oh and he has another movie coming out either this year or next year with Mila Kunis from the 70s Show. But I really wish he would go back to music. He has really good dancing music.

^He's been in Alpha Dog, Shrek the 3rd, & Black Snake Moan. He also has a small part in the upcoming Yogi Bear movie (

). He did a pretty decent job in Alpha Dog but I'm dying for him to come back to making music. That is his strongest feature, and to me FS/LS was one of the greater albums of the past few years. Pop/R&B music needs to be refreshed, & he's the one to do it.

He usually has a break inbetween making records but my god this is his longest break. I really do hope that soon he will make a new record. I know it's hard work for him but he obviously loves it.

I don't understand what do you guys have against him! Seriously, I thought he was great in Alpha Dog, I certainly miss hearing his music, but I have to admit that I find him pretty good at acting, and I don't mind seeing him more often in movies. To me, he is an extremely talented man.
