At this point I admit I'm tired of seeing rihanna in straight from the runway outfits.
In the first times it was good to see her putting back the era of the label fabricated princess style but know, she hited the style spotlight, there's no need to keep this designer/runway fabricated style. She looks like an advertising doll. Like her life is being paid-off or paid-off to live.
Where's her persona and her personal style??
For someone who wants to stand out as an individual and to make a statement, this is the wrong way...just my opinion.

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. I think the looks I love are the ones where she's a bit more relaxed fashion-wise, to me the runway styles look a bit uptight and too over the top - too theatrical in a way.

I think her look in #3665 is good as runway looks go, but I've never been hot on the 'fantasy oufits' that only runway models and superstars can pull off, that's why I dislike celebrities like Lady Gaga, because however much I try, I can't relate to that style. I guess that's why a lot of people love Rihanna's OTT style, just because it is on another level and because it's so unlike what most people would wear, but for me I love looks like #3646, #3574 and #3578 just because I could probably create a similar look (worth half as much, admittedly) from my wardrobe.

I know I'm probably missing the point with the whole celebrity culture in that being rich and famous is bit of a fantasy world, but style-wise I prefer more down-to-earth looks, which is why when Rihanna does tame her style now and again I'm totally in love, and when she does look like she's walked right off a runway it just goes over my head!
