I'm dying to see these jeans!! Even if your jeans are tighter than the pic, I think they'd basically look kind of the same. And I think your Converse will look cute, too. Are you going to wear them with thick socks ala Marc Jacobs??

I just found a pic, mine are as tight as this:
i really like this...
my levis are like this......
i do think that you need a little foot to go with the little leg-
in terms of proportion...

so imo...a small heel is a better option...
but in pumps you could look like a hooker......
i usualle wear an ankle boot with mine and that looks really cool...
sexy and rock n roll...

debbie harry meets chryssie hynde...

'skimmers' would also be cute...
and they would look great tucked into tall boots...

^ i totally agree about the debbie meets chryssie look...SO HOT!!!

kim, i'd totally rock those with your hightop cons. are they monocons or white bottoms? either way, i think softgrey's suggestions are right on. dare post a pic of yourself wearing them?

^ Mine are hi top in black.... Too bad my cam is not working, would have loved to share a pic....

Hum, Softie, yep it would have looked great in boots, but I am not into heels at all.

Curious, no I am not gonna wear them with the chunky MJ style socks... It's not really my style.

kimkhuu if yr jeans are tht tight like the pic then they are perfect !
i've seen a lot of people with jeans which are tighter
& it does work with the right proportions
as long as yr not a total fattie {which i'm sure yr not !}
& spilling out evrywhere it'll look great !

i was thinking the same thing that tia. i have big thies so skinny jeans might look awful. or they might make my thies look even more bigger and that's the thing i don't want to. but still i was thinking that i might destroy my jeans completely and make them skinny and ripped up.

I know this sounds weird, but I am really really skinny, so I guess the pants look half decent on me.

Actually I wore them today! Totally love them!

Yay!! Glad they worked out for you, Kimkhuu!

Tiamaria & Adi - it's kind of hard to say without seeing them on you. I don't think you need to be stick thin to pull them off, but I do think they require a certain amount of proportion. I don't really know how else to describe it so I hope that makes sense...

Thanks Curious!!!!!

I just gave my mommy another pair of denim I don't like anymore so she can turn them into skinny jeans (but this time, I've learned my lesson, I'll make them a bit less tight).

Is it possible to shorten a sport coat?
I recently got a great deal on a pinstriped Armani Collezioni suit..... however the jacket is a bit long on me.

Is it possible to shorten the jacket? I'm in NYC and willing to take to an expert tailor if this is possible.
