Nice shrug, but; hooray, Bad Religion! I love, love, LOVE Bad Religion! Oh, and I am very close to loving you as well, for wearing a BR-top!

It's still 2 AM so I'm introducing scissors to some very expensive clothes before sanity hits me in the morning.

Currently I'm slashing the short sleeves and breast pocket off a shirt. The American tourist look must go, even if I do end up looking like an extra from Guns N' Roses...

NB

Monochrome can also mean varying shades of a single colour. Black, through the grey spectrum to near white is technically only one colour so blacks, whites and greys are all 'monochromatic'.

Send cheques, chocolates and flowers to Ri...

sorry, but not so prince ...
in fashion that is referred to as a 'tonal' look...
different shades/tones of the same colour...

anywhere you ever read about a monochromatic look as refers to clothing...
it will be all one colour head to toe...
ie-red dress, red tights, red shoes...
this was especially popular in the 80's and came up OFTEN...

*it is also a trick used to look slimmer and comes up in articles on that topic...

Well, it may mean something different in the fashion world, but what I said is an actual meaning of the word (and the dictionary agrees)...

Has anyone dyed blue denim to a gray color? I have a denim military jacket that I love, but I don't like the color (regular blue denim). I think it would look even better in a gray. Is it possible? Or should I return it and look for a gray one?

I have big feet, so when i get new choos, I mean shoes, ( I mean Choos), I sometimes take them to a guy who stretches them, puts in ball-of-feet pads, and little grip pads on the bottom

Question re: Customisations
Does anybody know if a tailor would be able to do any of the customsations for you, granted that you supplied the material & "idea."

For example, I have these 2 waistcoats, same size, same label, but with different prints...I'd like to cut them both down the middle, and sew the left side of this waistcoat to the right side of that waistcoat, so that it looks like 1 single waistcoat w/ contrasting patterns on opposite sides..I figure it's as easy as cutting it down the middle, and re-sewing it back together again...Do you think a tailor could and/or would do that?

Took the puffy sleeves off a vintage dress. Now the it doesn't look quite so stuffy.
