i've sprayed 2 pairs of old faded jeans, with black paint spray, they became dark blue, the denim structure remained, they got some wax touch [but not much harder], and they are surprisingly not self-painted looking. wearing them all the time now

You can dye them, or even load the dye into an airbrush, so you have more control over the tint.

does anyone know if it's possible to use RIT dye on a cotton-spandex blend of stretch jeans?

Great job mirrra! Really can't tell it's painted.
Will you have to take extra care when washing it at all?

Customizing Tshirts
so, we all have these ugly over sized tshirts from highschool, or for free from events...
How do you guys customize yours? I've expiremented a few times, but all failed projects so far...

There was a show on style tv once, where an LA based designer showed these funky tricks on how to turn an ugly tshirt into a sexy/cute top for denim, the best part- no sewing knowledge was required! just scissors, and where you didnt have thread/rope you made it out of the tshirt itself....any of you creative peeps out here care to share the secret?
