i really like the idea of this top, but want to switch out the brown fabric on the bottom for a red fabric

couturecandy

do you think this would be relatively easy for most tailors? the website says its 100% modal, so im thinking it shouldnt be too hard to make the fabrics cohesive if i just buy a 100% modal red fabric

Educo and Muxu those things are amazing!!

I just did my first major modification on a pair of Roc boots... they were knee high lace ups (leather) and i could never wear them without feeling like a hooker... i just don't know why.. so i grab a pair of scissors and cut across them just above the ankle... now they are balenciaga-esque looking.. or better said Ann D inspired...

i'll post up pics soon

Here is the progress of my new customization. I'm attempting to remix fishnets into the famous spiderweb stockings from Rodarte.

Cool! How are you re-attaching the threads?
Is this part of something for school...if so, what's the brief?

It's a series of knots, and twists and cutting, etc. No, it's not for school, I just want those Rodarte tights!! So I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I would cut as I ran out. I would change the thickness of the threads, so it wouldn't make sense to add along. But that's a good idea if I decide to do a stocking with threads of the same size.
