I haven't properly knitted for ages...I recall knitting a sweater for my sister when I was 10 (and wanting to wash it before giving it to her..I scrank the pretty sweater so it afterwards only fitted her baby-doll )..but since then nothing..and I'm having trouble remembering different ways of knitting that I once knew

I'm a crocheting maniac. If you're on my christmas list, expect something made of yarn.

Knitting is next..!

Whats the easiest way to learn how to crochet ??.. from the looks of internet sites..it looks difficult like its something you need to watch being done in order to "get" it

Yes I knit. My grandmother showed me how when I was a kid and a few years ago I took it up to try to quit smoking.

Unfortunatly I still smoke but I have tons of scarves

I knit, and I enjoy it! I haven't had the time to do so, so I knit during the weekends, or whenever I have time...Right now my new goal is to learn how to knit mittens or gloves.

I crochet.. I used to knit but since my aunt taught me how to crochet I'm hooked! Plus I can bring my crochet hook on board the plane (I hope..), but I've been told they won't allow knitting needles.

And crocheting gives more texture in general I find

I love knitting. Therapy for the soul. We had to knit as youngsters in school... girls, boys, teachers.

Unfortunately, my mother also liked to knit and there'd be blue murder every morning when she'd try to force me into her itchier creations.

Used to... then I got lazy and gave up on my creation.

I'm not used to the new format at all. When I read the title, it looked like the title was 'knitting' and the subtitle was 'cowboyboots.' I didn't realize that that was the author's name, so I clicked out of curiosity.

I'm learning how to knit...right now ,together with the lady whos teaching me, we're making a scarf for someone....

Hopefully I'll get to a point I can do this on my own.
