^yay good to know. which needles did you choose in the end?

i love your scarf sophia. i've tried crocheting before, but it always gets too tight or something. no matter what yarn or size of hook i use it always ends up more like an oven cloth that a soft scarf

i used wooden circular knitting pin with 9cm thickness.
no one cared. not the security people when you enter the secure area and also not the stewards.
i thought the bigger the better and wooden doesnt beep at the security check.

Thanks try using a bigger hook and dont pull the yarn tight it will look messy for the first few rows but once you get going it will even out. Also try using a double crochet instead of a single one. Honestly I just use youtube videos to learn knitting and crocheting stuff.

^thanks for the tips

i'm crocheting this scarf now (i've changed it to double crochet stitch instead of the half double she's using though), but i think i'm pulling the yarn too tight, it's gotten better, but it's still not as loose as i'd like it.

^What a fantastic jumper! It looks so cozy and it's in grey, my favorite color!

Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you knew of websites that offer free patterns?
I've been getting into knitting a lot, and have mastered the easy beanie by now I'd like to do things more complicated :-)
