ATTITUDE, I love the first earring, although large earrings often frighten me - for some reason I am always scared they will rip my earlobe off...stupid as that sounds!

as for the second one, I love the shell and think that it might be able to even stand on its own, but if you want to make additions, I have a few suggestions:

-add a branch of coral - Im loving the naturally formed stuff right now!
-add a mother of pearl button
--some very very tiny, small, bright yellow feathers
-simple small silver chain (different varieties) in a loop like this | |

\ /
----
personally, I like the button idea the most because it would add something without distracting from the shell (which is quite nice!) , or the silver chains idea only because I love silver with shells! but, it depends on what -you are going for.
let us know what you figured out!

Hey,

Arksiel, thanks. I'm still considering. Most people say nothing to add.. Or one of these and in the other ear something with pearls. I'm still thinking about it.

Yeah, I know long once. are kinda scared. My earrings arn't heavy thats one thing. Most people are also scared for that. And I just love huge things, but I'm thinking of makeing some smaller ones. The Gypsy styel also something like that. But then small..

Anyway thanks for your idea's, I'm going to check it out!
Let you know.

Ciao.

Attitude - I love the idea of the shell by itself as one earring and another different earring (but complementing colour) as the other earring. I think that would look really cool.

Arksiel's idea of the buttons would look brilliant!

Those are seriously cute! How long are they in person? 4-5cm? Longer? Shorter?

I particularly like the one which is strictly wooden beads, with three hoops at the bottom.

Do the hoops kind of rotate around while you wear them?

I've been soooo bored. Summer and all. so i got out my bead kit and started making stuff again.

(I'm so sorry the pics are HUGE)

its been fun. these are my mm... i'm broke but i want long necklaces with funky stuff on them collection. hahahahaha.

I wore like 3 of them at once in Waikiki and all these people kept asking me where I got them, so I had to tell them I made them. I need buisness cards! and a website.

I made a whole bunch actually... put some up on eBay just to see. :-P I still havent taken pics of my new ones that I really really like. these are kind of my first attempts. fun though. I think I will use leather thongs instead of twine, ribbon, hemp or monofilament in my next ones.
