The grease keeps it from sticking to the pan. I think I'll do some watercolor work on the next one. I think I'll put my scanner on a skeet trap sometime soon...

Everyone here is so good at this. Pastry! Where you sketching in the cradle or something? You designed the cradle itself didn't you?

Here's my first attempt at this kind of illustration. Initially it was only an outlet for today's frustrations (that would explain the barbaric fur ), but then I thought I might as well just send it in. I'm very unsatisfied with the result, and therefore motivated to improve

I don't know if it's too soon to start another design...but how about either of these Versace creations?

hope that was clear

what do you think?
Those Versace gowns look like they would be fun to draw However LosInNJ, I think we better play by the rules. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I'll choose a winner Monday. It'll have been a week then.

On another note.Honey~Blade, you asked for my other two illustrations, and I'm posting them. A YSL tuxedo suit (took a bitch), and a dress from the same collection (quite rushed). Also, illustrations for that Balenciaga coat..Keep them coming until Monday.

ONE AT A TIME!
I love the input, but damn, we're only people who draw. Art directors have nothing to do with art. Wait until Monday.

these were done very quickly. not my best in any sense
sketch in like 5 minutes

added some ghetto airbrushing in photoshop.

the next one i do will be much less a replica of the runway pic and more 'inspired' than anything. this was just a nice time waster

I've just done the Balenciaga one...at least I think it was

Done in black fineliner and chalk pastel, I'm trying to re-teach myself how to draw because I have pretty much stopped drawing these past couple of years in comparison to how much I used to, it's really annoying I don't think my eyes are understanding things the same. Anyways thanks for making this topic it's a great idea...hopefully gonna get me back on track Need to work on faces
