Shalom looks like a total goddess on this cover. And I love the dresses.

The articles sound interesting as well. But Matthew Fox in a Vogue editorial? That seems so random!

Thanks again for the review & scan, you're amazing for sharing those gems with us

I think he used to be a model before he got into acting. It's kinda like Tom Welling getting that ed with Maryna back in 2008.

This issue sounds fantastic!

I miss the old days when Vogue US did couture eds and detail reports about couture shows!

Yes, he was a model but that was in the late 80's, I think. At least I know for sure he was on Party of Five (1994-2000) when this editorial came out And that's why I wondered because even though I loved PoF it wasn't exactly a cool show and certainly not one that gets you into US Vogue.

Thanks, cottonmouth!

No one can rock a couture editorial than Shalom. It's like she was born to do it.

^ LOVE. That looks a lot like the couture ed in VI March 97, also shot by Lindbergh. Nonetheless both are so beautiful and classic. The line-up of models is perfect as well.
I've always thought that most of the 90s issues of US Vogue are much worth collecting, regardind how memorable and classic the eds are. I have some but gotta have ALL the issues
Thanks for scanning!

Best thing about this issue was the couture report by Hamish Bowles and Kate Betts. I can only imagine this was probably THE most important issue at that time since it covered the British invasion (Galliano for Dior/McQueen for Givenchy debuts).

Thanks again! I have scans of the Helmut Newton ed, let me know if you want it posted so you won't have to scan anymore.

It's not Kiara in the Lindbergh ed but Debra Shaw

Funny cause that was my first thought too when I first flipped this issue and I was looking through the Lindbergh editorial. Your snap of Lindbergh's couture ed. from the March 1997 issue of Vogue Italia first came into my mind.

Sure thing dear! I'd really appreciate it! TIA!

Oh snap! I thought it was Kiara! My bad. Need to sharpen more of my 90s model knowledge.
