went on a tour of the conde nast archives and snapped a few photos of the first ever issue of vogue! published on dec 17, 1892... excuse the poor photography... enjoy!

Oh wow this is absoloutely brilliant, thanks a million for taking the pictures and posting them here.

Did they mention who is the woman on the cover?Or was that just a sketch?

i think it was just a sketch- on the bottom of the illustration it says VOGUE- A DEBUTANTE. *shrugs*
