Vintage Vanity Fair
I know there's already a thread dedicated to covers, but I thought it would be nice to have a place to post their features.

TFS copycats!

What is the guise under which VF has released these vintage editorials?

Back when VF produced, original covers reflective of the time period from which they sprang. I can not stand their latest masthead re-incarnation.

Not sure it's still available but would you be so awesome as to post Uma's january 96 Leibovitz cover ed?

Another fab thread idea blueorchid! i'll see what i can dig up

As you can see above, I have motherloads. I may upload some in a bit. And in a bit would probably mean a couple of months, because you know me

As for that, it was for their 100th anniversary last year. And to let you know, I scanned the August 1991 issue first!

For their 100th Anniversary they had a special part of their site (which I just discovered last week) dedicated to past issues/features. They have a few full issues posted, here are the links to them in full:
August 1987
August 1991
February 1995
November 2001 (their 9/11 special issue)

Unfortunately those are the only full issues they posted!!

Awesome thread idea, blueorchid! Would love to see more of the 80's and early 90's issues! Lyla, do you have them?

I have:
August 1991 (scanned)
March 1992 (scanned)
August 1992 (scanned)
September 1992 (scanned)
November 1992 (scanned)
December 1992 (scanned)
January 1993 (scanned)
February 1993 (scanned)
March 1993 (scanned)
June 1993 (scanned)
October 1993 (scanned)
December 1993
September 1994 (scanned)
January 1995
March 1995
October 1995 (scanned)
May 1997
September 1997 (scanned in part)
November 1999
December 1999 (scanned in part)
October 2000

I think that's all I have (except for recent issues obviously), I don't know. I may re-scan the ones I've scanned to make them higher in quality.

Lyla you've been one busy little lady

Would you be able to snap the issues just so we'd have cover previews of the various issues?

i still have the Princess Di cover shot by Testino c 1997. it's kinda amazing i had the good sense at the age of 11 to not let it fall victim to my collaging fetish! probably in the next month i can get back to my old place and take some snaps.

I'm not THAT busy... it's all been scanned over a 2 year period. I would definitely take a snap but I can't find my camera... that or I'd have to use either my camcorder (with a broken charger so I can't really use it anymore) or my iPad (the quality on that is crap).
