Elsa has a lovely golden shade, it goes nicely with the tan look she seems to have a lot of the time

I like them both, but it's always interesting to me to see natural blondes with olive skin, it's not a common color combination.

I made an appointment to lighten my hair for the summer with this photo as inspiration.

I think Abbey Lee looked much nicer with her natural tone... still love her with the super light blonde!

Due to the sun I am at the edge right now between light blonde and white - is there any product that protects your hair from getting lighter?

I just used this stuff in my hair, it's a deposit-only color. I mix a squirt in with deep conditioner and leave it in for half an hour or so once a week to help things from getting too bright. I like it, it's kind of a toner/gloss in one.

^ i haven't seen that before, interesting concept

oiselet, so you're going for a golden wheaty blonde? it looks very pretty

pengy, maybe spf sun protector sprays? i don't know if those are strong enough to help hair not lighten though... if all else fails, cute hats!

My hair was getting pretty light as well, but the clairol stuff I posted now has it back to the perfect shade. I dilute it a lot though. I usually start reaching for it when my roots get to be really obvious, to help stave off a trip to the salon. It fades out pretty quickly too, it's definitely not permanent.

Thanks again for the product advise!
I fear I cannot get it over here though -.-

I love my hair as super light as it usually is but I think I want to wait till I'm 60 to start with really white hair

i miss Blonde.

this photo gives me The Virgin Suicides kind of feel to it

me

i'm getting my hair done soon. i still want a lot of Blonde but not overall blonde and not the maintenance . so i'm thinking ombre with lots of blonde on the bottom. of course there isn't going to be as much blonde as i'd like after the first session but since it's not going to start on the roots, i can just gradually add more highlights whenever i feel like it. as far as my roots, i'm not into the high contrast deep brown with light blonde look so i'd like to stay close to my current hair color which is Light Golden Brown. i mean i've got nearly six months of roots and i'm not that mad about it which is so unlike me considering i used to go to the salon once a month for touch-ups but i think having bangs have helps conceal roots a lot in the front. from the back though, i look like i'm wearing a kippa it's okay, i rarely ever get to see myself from da back :p

me

my hair is shorter these days, above the chichi's which is nice for the Summer heat but thinking about getting my hair done is making me miss my long hair! i don't really like having bangs but if they will help with roots then i will go with it. i'll decide how much bangs i will be trimming after i see how my hair turns out. the lighter my hair, the fuller my bangs will be to keep them roots at bay

my current hair color inspiration :
Sienna Guillory
(larger/fuller version than one previous posted in the first Blonde Hair thread)

I think it will look great. Your color always looks awesome, it sounds like you have a very talented colorist.

I need a positive hair dresser in my life. I'm going back to my roots- I kind of just want to let my hair be natural for awhile while it gains length.
