My bangs were getting too long and I had to sweep them to the side so I finally cut them a bit last night again and I feel much better.

I also like your hair, bordelique. it suits you

thanks iamellie!

can anyone fill me in if it is easy to do yourself? i used to cut my own hair, but i have layers now and since my hair is longer, i go in to my friends mom and have her do my hair. do you think fringe bangs would be an easy DIY???

jun3 I think it would look great on you... you have intense eyes and a pretty face that wouldnt be overwhelmed by big bangs imo

Is is not hard but rather it's risky to cut bangs yourself. theyre right on your face so they are very hard to hide if you mess up hehe

It is best to make a straight line about an inch back or so (depending on how thick or thin you want them) from your hairline. Run a pointy comb parallel to the hairline for about the width of the middle of your forehead and then pull the hair straight down. you always want to cut them about 1/4" - 1/2" longer than where you want them to end because they will rise up a bit when theyre not being pulled down and you dont want them to end up too short. also don't cut straight across the bottoms, cut upwards into the ends of the hair. I hope that makes sense.. those are the guidelines I follow when doing mine. Hope it is of some help

I'm thinking of growing out my bangs. I attached some pics of what my hair looks like with bangs and what it looks like with them pinned to the side (my hair looked like this before I got my bangs cut). I starting to not like them a bit. What do you guys think?

Jun love your new hair, it definately suits you!

Jaime I agree that you shoud keep your hair as is. It looks good either way but I'm definately leaning more towards keeping the fringe.
