With bangs is sexier and very cool!

ohh, I'd forgotten all about Nico's hair! Thank you for the reassurance, since I'm far too chicken to dye my hair, haha.

@Jamie (#115):

You sure should keep the bangs! You look sexy and mysterious with them and just-long hair is so blah...

I have bangs already for quite a while, 5 years with breaks.
Though I don't have dark hair

I like bangs a lot, on others and on myself. They are a statement, they are elegant and at the same moment edgy. Dramatic but wearable. I adore bangs and already wouldn't know how to live without frings above my eyes. My forehead is quite large and I think bangs are perfect for hiding this

Here are some pics of my bangs:

Thanks bordelique As a child I hated my hair color and dreamt of black hair.

If you want to know if it's dyed- no! I've never ever dyed my hair. It just changes the color over the year. Now it's more direction blond, in winter it becomes darker- this pic is from new years eve(I don't have red eyes of course ):

I think I'm getting a fringe this weekend. I haven't had one since I was 6! So I'm pretty excited about it and think about it alot lately

I'm going to go for a casual and easy one (for lack of a better description), not too thick and blunt/graphic. Mainly because I need something that is not too styling-dependent.
An inspiration for this look for me could be Jane Birkin.

Will post a picture when I get it done

Edit: was considering doing it myself, but in the end it's probably best that I have a hairdresser do it the first time, and then maintain it myself later if I like it. I also think I'll need the advice, because I still do wonder if it will suit my face and hairtype...

Good luck, Browneyes! Jane Birkin is a perfect example for inspiration.

You look great Cheburashka!! I have the same hair colour but I've dyed my hair black and I love it!! It's so funny when the roots start to show
Anyway I have bangs and I'm very happy with them. I finally found a haircut I love

It's sort of like Selma Blair too, I think it can make or break a face. Bellucci is a godness and she looks pretty average with them, plus they look so fake.
Jessica Alba can't pull this look at all, especially caus her hair looks so Barbie.

On the other hand, Cate looks gorgeous, as well as Selma.
I prefer it on brunettes too.

Ooh I agree! Oh maybe she overstyles them, I dont know. Same with Adjani. Who would take the first picture over the second? Not me. It isn't as bad as Bellucci because she doesn't overstyle her fringe
