hei...i've been meaning to try that type of style for a year or so. when will the pattern start to lose itself? do you have to buy a shaver opr something to keep the pattern there?

Hairstyles for men
so i usually rock a nice little faux hawk when i go out.

It looks really good on me and very easy to style, but its been played out.

so what is the consensus on new men's hairstyles?

i'm thinking of rockin the Grease 2/50's look (although not soo greasy and not so big)

btw- i'm not down w/ the emo long haired crap look

Yeah, Im over the super short look, the emo long hair look and the faux hawk.

I'm thinking of growing mine out to a pseudo surfer look. Clean cut sides and back with longer top and bangs. And going more blonde.

Similar to this but maybe a bit longer on both sides in the front, and probably not so parted and straight.

But not like the emo look where it's long all over.

it all depends what part of the country you are in.
i gave up on my faux hawk a couple of years ago, and just let my hair grow,
was in japan at the moment and i was trying to look , more japanese.
was going for that whole anime look.
came back, fast forward a a couple of months and everybody started letting their hair grow and called it emo.
so i cut my hair, and now i just have it short, thin, and a bit messy.

I shaved mine recently. So I could wear hats in the winter without worrying about hat head when I got to work.

I love it because it's maintenance free!! But I'm not sure it fits me well, so I'm growing some length out for the summer.

I'm going for a bit shorter hair this summer.

My curls started to "hang" and dind't look the way I wanted. So when it's shorter i'll probably go for slightly messy with shorter sides and back and longer top and front. Hopefully it will work .

I wish I had curly hair.

Most of the styles I like are for more curly hair. Mine is bone straight.
