Anyway, I've been thinking of doing a little red to my hair, as well... I have blonde hair, too. I'm just afraid that once I do it red, I'll have to redye and all that stuff, and that's a pain to me. It would be ideal to do a 24-wash thing..however, that may ruin my hair.

I'm not sure if those wash-out dyes work, anyway?

I had blonde hair when I was younger and now it's turning brown...but not a rich, pretty brown. It's kind of mousey and I hate it. Anyway, I want change, and pretty much everyone I've asked has told me to go lighter, not darker...but I don't really want to go blonde, you know? Plus my mom dies her hair blonde and I don't want us to look like twins.

I've been thinking of bringing in pictures from when I was younger and asking for some sort of golden-y highlights...but I really love red hair. I'm interested in what you guys post as far as a lighter reddish/auburnish value range.

Lovely redheads!! I love redheads, being one myself. If only Nic Kidman and the gal from 70's show were still redheads!! They both looked much better that way.

I love red heads too.
Addicted, I'm also blonde and now I have my natural colour, but one year ago I dyed my hair and I had the same colour that kirsten dunst in Spiderman. I think it's a colour that suits blondes, and more if you have blue eyes. I loved my red hair and I thinking of dying it again. But I don't think that blonde-red togheter it's good, it's better diferent tones of red and orange very gradual.

Blonde hair with some red highlights is very nice.. gives a strawberry blonde colour. Just gorgeous with a fairer complexion. Just so tough to maintain if you're not naturally red! Doh...

Last month's (October) Br. Vogue had a beauty article about Red hair entitled "Red alert".
It shows what brands and name/number haircolour different redhead top models use, and what Vogue considers the "Rules of Red".
Featured are Jessica Stam, Lily Cole, Polina, Carolina Trentini, Lisa Davies and Deanna Miller.
