^Thank you so so much! I think I'm going to get it professionally done (at least the first time) I'm much too chicken to handle it on my own! I've found the perfect shade from Tahti Syrjala's lookbook Amazing!
I seriously wanna have red hair, right now!
But I have dark brown hair at the moment and I am afraid that putting peroxide do bad things to my hair...if someone have good or bad experiences please tell me!
I might even have to do peroxide two times until my hair is blonde enough to put red colour.
It might be safer to do this at salon but it is sooooooo expensive :/

You don't have to bleach, there are plenty of dyes that deposit red whilst bleaching, but I would go to the hairdresser to get it done, otherwise you'll end up with a patchy mess!
Went to the hairdresser today and finally did it (from brunette to red took 5 hours!) They did use bleach but it was the lowest level so it didn't burn.
It's quite bright and vibrant now and I fear it will fade. I think I'll be using a ton of hair powder and cutting back on the shampoo.
i think red hair is best suited for people with yellow/green undertones because it takes the pink on your skin and really maximizes it. i have a yellow undertone and i think it looks good on me because it actually looks like i have blush even though im not wearing any makeup at all. So probably for people with rosacea it would be best to opt for a copperish blonde, still red but a lot warmer for your skin.
Hi, everyone! Red hair is my favorite hair color and since I was little I wanted to be one!
I started to do red reflexes in a naturally light brown (with hints of golden) about a year ago and April of 2010 I finally died it completely with Wella's Koleston 8/43 "Light blond red golden" and I've been fixing my roots ever since! I am SO happy with the result! The summer is a challenge, though, since my hair tends to get this golden blond tone...
After I've dyed it (April 2010)
(with sun light)
(without many light)
In June 2010 (you can see it getting sun-kissed!)
(less light)
Here is my after. Had it cut and layer heavily then dyed a bright orange copper. I love it. I like my naturally curly hair but I just prefer it better structured and flat-ironed. It just suits me more.
