I have a question. I dyed my hair red (its orignaly brown) about a month ago. Its coming out really bad is there anything I can do to make the color last?

Since you're going red and ant to stay red I'd suggest you go w. a colouring product that contains henna..it'll last and last ..and last

Waukon do you have a 'lush' shop near you? They have blocks of 'cacca' and you can get brun, marron, noir I think. It's messy but it makes your hair shine like mad and it stays in and adapts to your hair but doesnt leave roots...ask one of the assistants they're always really helpful.

Edit: It has henna in.

Hi Guys, would love your opinion on this please.


I have naturally red hair, similar to Lily Cole, i have a similar complextion also. Over the last two years i've been brown, that got gradually darker the more i put on and then the begining of this year i started having two tone blonde highlights run through to highen it up.

I really like the blonde highlights, especially since the brown is now washing out and the ren tone is starting to come back. I'm due to get my roots done soon and i can't decide to stay with the blonde or go back to my roots and be a red head again

what do you guys think? Thanks

Do you mean makeup colors? Or clothing? I have natural red hair and I wear greens,browns,bronzes, purples, yellows, pinks, and oranges on my eyes. I don't really wear blue b/c it does nothing for me, and I don't wear blacks/greys b/c they are too harsh. As for clothes I wear almost every color except pink, mostly b/c I don't like it.

It depends on what shade of red you are, also. I have very light, bright red hair, gray eyes and pale skin. I can wear green (dark green is the best color on me), baby blue, light grey, black, bright yellow, pale yellow, white, pink, red (yes, redheads can wear wear red ) purple, and peach (looks amazing on me too).

I wear light makeup colors, creams and golds. Sometimes I'll wear a red lipstick, but mostly mauve or nude.

hey all! needa yr suggestions here...i'm a 17year old asian guy..gonna colour my hair for the first time.....andd i wanna a big change. definately not blonde cos i think it looks bad on asians. was thinking of red with a pixie kinda cut? but wld a whole hair of red look werid? esp on a guy?

I'm natural red/auburn. Many times I tried different color reds, only to find red dye fades pretty fast. I's best to go to a stylist for a dye job. Maybe she can recommend what color/ highlights would go best with your skin tone. Already having blonde hair is a start, no worry of bleaching it for color effects.
