Straightening curly hair?
I have rather wavy to curly hair and ive been straightning it for about a year and my hair is extremly damaged. Does anyone know of good products to use before you straighten it or a good flat iron that wont fry my hair???

CERAMIC straighteners...
ceramic in big... coz if u use any other they r badddd

plus THE only good straighteners to use are GHD (good hair day)
they are THE best... and only straighteners i would ever let touch my hair...

they are great have different models, normal, mens, afro hair, models...
n use ghd iron oil each time before u straighten..
plus u shud not straighten ur hair each day as this will ffff it up big style

good luck

Straightening curly hair?
Hi, I have very curly hairs and I wanted to know if I could straighten them? I would like to cut them shorter, maybe to make something different kind of a ''Mohawk'' style, but more fashionned and shorter. But for that, I need straight hair, could it be possible?
A bit like this, with maybe shorter hairs on the side, and a bit longer on the top.

And do you think it would be nice on me??(be truthfull)
Here is me:

I wish I knew more about this subject cause I'd love to help. All I can come up with is to try straightening your hair before you take the plunge and cut it. Maybe a chemical straighter or a flat iron would be a good idea. See if your hair is manageable when straight. Also, take a photo to your stylist – he or she will be able to tell you what’s reasonable for your hair type.

uh the only thing i know
is that you should never comb yor hair with a brush if dry and straightened.

maybe you should cut it and not put gel on it and just let your curls run free
like bob dylan or a young paul newman

I love messy curly hair on guys..but I would ease up on the gel. The worst thing is stiff plasticy curls. If you really want to cut and straighten your hair though, go for it! Your hair will grow back if you end up not liking it.

I think you would look better with hair about the length it is now or slightly longer.

No gel.

Thanx for the advices people

My hair is a TOTAL mess if I don't put any gel. Worst than this Bob Dylan picture.
I'll try to take a pic of my hair after my shower and show you what it looks like dry and no gel

I'll think about that haircut... It seems that short hair doesnt fit me ( gurlz advise) oh well...
I like this Paul Newman pic though! I would love to have hair like that... ill see!
