I am not a HUGE fan of either, but I'd pick the second one if I HAD to pick.

Even seemingly unstyled looks take some effort. Worthington started by spritzing models' damp hair with a medium-hold setting spray (like Charles Worthington Dream Hair Looks Amazing Invisible Control Blow-Dry Spray). Next, he used two blow-dryers (feel free to use just one at home) and his hands to create a whiplashed effect. He then ruffled the top layers with a texturizing paste (like his In Fashion Get Messy), to give it a slightly lived-in look. Whatever you do, don't even think about brushing. "It makes the hair look too groomed," Worthington says. When it comes to this look, he prefers fingers to bristles. "The more you work with your hands, the better it looks."

i like side parts better though. when its split down the middle it tends to show the unsymmetricalness of ur face cuz the part gives u a reference point to find the uneveness (i just made up a word, lol) -- if that makes any sense. very few people can pull of middle parts IMHO

what's your hair type like? Curly, wavy, straight... thick, fine, coarse?

Try styles that will work with your hair type... not against it.
