I am looking for a haircut that will look good with these bangs when worn down. Thanks

Hey, anyone any recommendations what to do with my hair? You can see me in my avatar.
I have curly, long hair (almost up to the ellbows) and I'm thinking of cutting them shorter (but not shorter than shoulderlength, otherwise I'll look like my hair exploded:p )

-Thx, Laura

Hey, check out my avatar. Any idea how I might cover up the medulla oblongata? It just keeps sticking out.

I dont know if im supposed to post this here, I couldn't find the right thread, but anyway I really need help girls.
I dyed my hair just a few days and it turned out like a reddish orangey brown with a brassy yellow undertone to it, it looks discusting on me! it doesn't suit my skin tone at all. I've been wanting a color exactly like this girl in the pic.. It's like a light chocolate brown with no yellow or orange in it, or maybe its light ash brown right? I really want all the orange out.. Can someone please tell me how to get this color using a home-hair coloring product, what brand do you recommend and what color?? I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much guys!!

You can't. It will always be orange if you do it at home. I'm assuming your hair is black if you want this dark brown? The orange never seems to fade, so just go to a salon if you dont want the heartache of frying your hair!

I have black hair and the first time I lighten it at home it tuned orange. After that I used a shade of the color I wanted in ash. Ash colors have a blue or violet base that neutralize the orange and yellow tones. After that I had the color I wanted without the orange. If your hair is healthy you could try an ash brown, but I would recommend you to try it first in a small strand of hair to see how it turns out, if you like the result do the rest of your hair. If your hair is not healthy I think you should go to a salon, but either way use a good conditioner before coloring again.
About brands, Clairol's Hydrience is water base so is mild on hair. And L'oreal's Preference has nice ash colors.
Whatever you do I hope you can get the color you want, good luck!
