i was just curious of what everyone else puts in their hair.

ive been having a really hard time getting my hair to be straight and not frizzy, since its naturally curly...does anyone have any tips?
(maybe i just need a new straightener?!)

I have naturally curly hair too! Embrace your curls! hehe
I put a little paul mitchell super sculpt styling glaze in my hair- that's it.

When I straighten I like TIGI Control Freak. You could maybe also try a ceramic iron. I find em to work better than the metal ones.

Biosilk. And I prefer ceramic irons too, maybe I'm just imagining it but I think they're gentler on the hair... they don't seem to fry it so much. On my curly days I use Garnier Fructis mousse for curly hair.

I have naturally curly hair I straighten. It's short right now though so I don't have to put much effort into it. No one ever believes my hair is naturally curly when I tell them, which I am very glad about.

I always comb my hair in the shower and turn on the cold water for the last 30 seconds or so that my hair is under the stream, to begin with. Then I run a bit of Rusk straightening balm (like a dime sized amount for my short hair) through it before blow drying.

I use a large round metal brush for blowdrying the roots and a small plastic comb with teeth that are very close together for getting the front parts straight and sleek. Then I use a ceramic iron to smooth it all down and make the ends curl how I want them to, and if I need it, I'll use some styling wax from Physique in a little tub when my hair is dry.

A good product that I would recommend is the Hemp Straightening Balm, by the brand Alterna.

I use whatever my beautician puts in my hair. Whatever it is, it's great.

I use John Freida's Brilliant Brunette Satin Shock finishing creme. It seperates my ends to give my hair more texture without feeling greasy or weighing down my hair. After it's in, I can hardly feel it.
