0000 Histoire du Look - Arte Documentary
Arte is having this week (for Paris FW) a new program...
it is called Histoire du Look (History of the Look)... From Oct., 1st. to Oct., 5th @ 7pm on german-french channel Arte...
Arte is doing very good things about fashion......
it will show a history of looks from Antics time to Nowadays...
the program for this week
itw of designers (Sophia Kokoslakis, Stefano Pilati, John Galliano, Marithé & François Girbaud and Chrisitian Lacroix) for every historic period....
sorry if my post is a bit messy...
f*** i missed the first 15min. but it's a good thing...
it's very Arte (for those who know Arte doc'...)
they are doing docu-fiction...
Today is about the Roman Style...
luxury materials etc.
it's very historic... so for the fashion historians, i think it's could be interesting...
and the sandals (tropezian sandals), I always thought came from the Roman Civilization, is actually taken by the romans from the celtics... funny... or boring?
and the Romans had more than 80 lexical terms just for the different types of shoes!!!
But it's not only about fashion, and more about the lifestyle (with a focus on fashion!)
... it's not over...
all the videos can be seen there :
