Jeanne Lanvin by Edouard Vuillard c. 1935.

After 1920 Vuillard portrayed over 40 prominent parisiens. Jeanne Lanvin was one of them. It was in the end of his nabi-period about 1900, when he got introduced into the bourgeoise society of paris by Lucie Hessel. His portraits don't psychologize, mereley they document a social environment.
Further in the thread i read, that she owned paintings by Viullard.

there are a lot LOT of Lanvin creations in L'Officiel archives ...
I'm currently focusing onto YSL and Chanel ... But just let you know ...
