Which designers today would you say were inspired by Adrian? I can't really see who, to be honest.

Hmmm...good question.

People often cite films or movie stars as their inspiration,
almost never the costume designer.
So, I guess his influence was more implicit.

/\ I can't remember which film it was, but I'm pretty sure the lilac ruffled ysl dress of a few summers ago was pretty similar to one of Adrian's designs. I'll have a look.
