Yellow Silk Chiffon Floral
C.1930s A very pretty sunshine yellow silk chiffon floral print with yellow silk and chiffon slip. The scooped neckline is accented with a ruffled Bertha collar The slim bodice is attached to the skirt with a wide curved seam line. Side seam snaps close the dress. The print is a two-tone yellow with golden yellow roses touched with golden rod accents on the petals. Pale green leaves and stems complete the floral design.

Pink Chiffon Evening Jacket
C.1930s This is a really lovely peach silk chiffon evening jacket with rounded satin collar and matching cuffs. The buttons are rounded pearl with a rhinestone set in the center. The poet sleeves are gathered into the shoulders and have a very small pad that shapes the upper sleeve just a bit. Pin tucks follow the shoulder yoke seam across the front of the bodice.

Black Velvet Dress w/Crochet
C.1930s Lovely black silk velvet dress with ivory crocheted lace panel for the shoulders and upper bodice. The bodice has a deep v-neckline. The flirty sleeves extend around the back of the dress, dipping down following the line between crocheted lace and velvet. Along the back of the caplet across the back, are a series of tucks. These tucks are mirrored on the front of the bodice center front on the velvet just below the crocheted upper bodice. The tucks release their fullness through the rest of the bodice. Bodice and skirt join just slightly above the natural waistline. Side seam closing. Bias cut skirt.

Cotton Smock
C.1930s A cotton smock in a blue and red plaid with solid blue long sleeves. The smock has a full button front and single button to close the cuffs. There are some stains on the sleeves. On the right are some flecks of white paint and on the left a faded yellowed grease spot at the elbow.

Glamorous 1930s Evening Gown in silky rayon with satin vertical stripe. Printed all over with wonderfully charming colorful and vivid polo player motif over the midnight black. Long sleeved with a deeply cut vee neck collar. Sash belt. This is the sort of gown Dorothy Parker might have worn at the Algonquin while tossing off one of her famous quips, like, "That woman speaks eighteen languages and can't say NO in any of them".

In a hard to find larger size, the crepe has a subtle linear texture and unusual gathered panels in the same fabric are set into each sleeve. The large covered buttons are decorated with domed silver metallic studs. Labelled ' Town and Country Shop, Utica N.Y'.

VINTAGE 1930's BLACK VELVET DECO BOLERO
A gorgeous vintage 1930's black velvet bolero, with incredible ruffled frills to the shoulders. The open sleeves are cape like. The bolero fastens at the front with a fantastic art deco clasp, with trailing velvet ties underneath. The metal clasp is 3.25" inches in width, and set with a huge amount of tiny sparkling, faceted glass 'stones'.

VINTAGE 1930's BLACK VELVET OPERA COAT
A show stopping vintage 1930's opera coat, in luxe black velvet, and in a hard to find larger size. Hard to do justice to the details in the photos, but the huge collar is padded and ruched for structure, with a frilled edge, looks amazing worn up, framing your face. Incredible ruched and frilled panels to each cuff and art deco clasp set with sparkling faceted glass 'stones'. Contrasting cream satin lining.
