I'll love the moment when Yves used to take his bow & standing ovation & the way he interact with his guests & models, here are some of the images throught the last 4 decades from corbis.
to continue the after the moments with Yves in the previuos page, here are some more images for a bow & with his guests including Audery Heprun, Paloma Picasso, Claude Montana, Alber Elbaz, Tom Ford, Sonia Rykiel, Ines de la Fersange, Jean Paul Gaultier & of course Catherine Duenuve from corbis:

todat is Yves's birthday, he is 71 ..wish him a healthier & happier life ...& I am still dreaming of a comeback to couture..which I doubt it will happen again...I miss those standing ovation moments in the Intercontintal Hotel halls
well, here are some of the early 90's couture images, which made me addicted to Yves.
"Saint Laurent's unforgettable evenings: at every level of dressing he gives a woman every option . . . and something more. Of all the unique, talked-about looks in a talked-about collection, the most memorable, right. His amazing Picasso-inspired evening—a beaded-and-embroidered inset—in pink-and-gold--"copies" exactly a Picasso double-faced/one-eyed profile. The dress, itself, black satin, shaped small and fitted to the waist, gathered and full-skirted over a black taffeta petticoat. And, with a short knee-grazing skirt, perfect black suede pumps. (The invisible evening accessory—his Opium fragrance!) A beautiful neckline, opposite. With a short black velvet dress, ruffles of stiff black net edged in tiny rhinestones, a rhinestone-and-multicolor necklace in between, and dazzling earrings. Symbol of something you always find at Saint Laurent: beyond the headlines, the news, the "fashion"—ways for a woman to look simply wonderful . . . at night . . . anytime!

I remeber reading in Yves's bio. that the Cubism collection was too emotional to Paloma Picasso, she couldn't hold her tears when she saw her father paintings on the Saint Laurent runway ... thank you Jennifer for bringing this up, great pic
