1960s - Fashions of a Tradition-Changing Decade

I searched and, surprisingly, didn't find a thread dedicated to the fashion of the 1960s. Moderators, if you happen to find a thread similar to this one, feel free to merge the two. Also, if you want to change the thread title, that's fine - I based mine off the 1920s and 1930s threads.

Helpful resources for information and pictures:

- Fifties Web (Despite the name)
- Fashion-Era
- Paperpast

- Vintage Streetstyle 1960's thread at tFS

Feel free to post any pictures of clothing/outfits from this time period - I sure will (I have hundreds of pictures)!

^ Oh, look at the lady in the last photograph! She looks like something straight out of the Balenciaga spring 2008 show with her big shoulders, exaggerated hips, and knee-high boots. Clearly she was ahead of her time.

Why can't modern stewardesses dress like this? The outfits are so cute and fun.
