thanks malkav...i will make a strong
effort to find this movie with so many strong recommmendations...

those pictures are wonderful nqth...
i do see it...junya is obviously also very influenced by rei's work...

the belgians definitely seem to be softer and more romantic...
the japanese seem to have more of an 'edge' to me...a sharper silhouette ...
i think that's why i like to mix the two...the combination is nice...

i'm going to jury duty tomorrow and will take the yohji mag with me to read...i should finish it...so i will post comments...

S/S 1999 (probably the most famous one? It had all these secret compartments, and on the runway the model pulled out all her accessories from inside the dress):

does this mean that this woman actually wore this for her wedding?...
what a dream...

thanks for posting travolta...
and thanks for the additional pics droogist...
this is when i thought yohji made a dramatic comeback after many years of being quiet-(mostly during the 'grunge' years)...
i fell in love all over again...
it's a great love affair...

ok...remember how i talk about clothes that sing to me...???
just found this quote from Yohji in A mag...

YY:Confronted with a garment, i somehow react like an animal. It is more instinctive than cerebral. I sing the same song, even if the melody is different every time....

another quote:

I wish they would remember me as someone who has loved women a lot and who has slightly changed the history of fashion, or rather, the history of clothes.

**we love you too yohji...
