Original caption: 11/2/70-New York: Pantsuits have become fashionable for afternoon wear and are being seen more and more as working girl attire--even in plush offices. These two R & K originals are elongated daytime tunic pantsets. The garment on the left in red, with a blue and white stripe down the center of the tunic is made of 55% polyester and 45% wool knit. The pantsuit on the right is in Navy and is made of 100% polyester knit. Both sell for about $50.

The gown is made of silk crepe, half navy-blue and half vivid red with long skirt pleated with crisscross at bodice uncovering heart-shaped decollete. Turban is made of same material. The pants suit (r) is of reversible, black-and-red wool by Ted Lapidus. Colors are same on inner (unlined) side as outer side. Most of Paris' designers showed trouser suits for coming spring.
