The link you posted doesn't work for me.

In my opinion, the more worn out your Converses are, the better. I love mine to look nice and aged. So I really have no idea how to keep them really clean...

Ick I hate super clean converse shoes. But if they're WAY too beaten up they look a bit bad..so somewhere in between is perrrfect, for me anyway.

converses are SUPPOSED to look better with age and wear! you need to dirty them up, give them some character!

I totally agree. Converse are no good when they look new & nice. I love them to look old, dirty & worn...thats when they are PERFECT! Mine even have the rubber coming apart a bit from the canvas on the side lol. If they start getting holes Ill replace them but for now...loooooooove them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! hehe

My Converses are about 4 years old now, and they've been through everything... mud all over them from horseback riding in France, lots of wear from almost daily use, and plenty of rainstorms. Somehow, they've held up pretty well. No big holes, but a few small ones. Anyways, I'll wear them til they fall apart! To me, I've been through so much with those shoes, so they are so special because of all of their battle scars!
