OHH I love her, She's a Bitch but look at what she has done! She changed Vogue (US) forever. The only thing I dont like is that Grace Mirabella used to put more models on the cover. Put at the time Anna was hired Conde Nast wanted Vogue to be more like Elle so thats why there are celebrities on now.

After reading the book, I quite fancied her...

I just finished reading this book. It's a fascinating read. Especially because here is this powerful woman, who has no formal education, and basically got her position and moved up by help from the men in her life, and her daddie's money.

I'm not saying she is not talented or does not have an eye for fashion. But the book really does make it seem that she kind of lucked out in her roles. She was fired from two or three magazines even.

DISCUSS:
Will Sofia guest-edit for Anna?

(NEW YORK) Carine Roitfeld may be rumored to be taking Glenda Bailey’s top position at Harper’s Bazaar, and now it looks like Anna Wintour might be drawing inspiration from the French Vogue editor as well. According to sources at several rival magazines that have been lobbying to photograph Kirsten Dunst for their fall issues—ideally September and October to coincide with the Oct. 13 release of Marie Antoinette—publicists for the actress have been holding out for Vogue. What’s more interesting is that sources are saying Wintour is said to be asking director Sofia Coppola to guest edit the issue. Sound familiar? That’s because Coppola edited the December/January issue of French Vogue in 2004. A Vogue spokesman said he could not comment, and a representative for Dunst did not return calls.

I really like Anna she is so stylish and it's good to see that she's done so well for herself (girl power lives on - ) and it is refreshing to hear she won't be bullied by anyone!

I think she's very chic and polished. She dresses appropriately for her age but never looks dowdy.

i think her style seems more contrived then some other editors like carine roitfield. Anna has appreciation and respect for fine things but she lacks any creativity in styling them
