The senior fashion news director of 'Teen Vogue' will join 'Glamour' as fashion news director.
Let another round of editorial musical chairs begin: Jane Keltner de Valle is leaving Teen Vogue, where she has worked for 10 years, to join the team at fellow Conde Nast publication Glamour.
Keltner de Valle has worked at Teen Vogue since 2004, serving as senior fashion news director of the glossy (and frequent subject of street style photographers). Prior to that, she worked at Elle, W and WWD.
Now, she will serve as Glamour's fashion news director, a newly created position. Keltner de Valle will be responsible for steering news and trend coverage for the women's mag.
"Jane is an exceptional talent with refined training and experience," said Glamour EIC Cindi Leive in a statement. “We’re thrilled to have Jane bring her distinct knowledge of modern American style to our readers through the fashion pages of Glamour.”
She will report to Glamour fashion director, Jillian Davison, starting May 19. Keltner de Valle's first issue will be the all-important September issue.
New York born and raised, Jane Keltner de Valle is the Fashion News Director at Teen Vogue, having been with the magazine since 2004. Among her many duties, she is responsible for editing the View, Shopping Spree, as well as the fashion features, and also pens the first-person column titled Fashion Blogger. Before joining the team at Teen Vogue, Keltner de Valle earned her stripes at Elle Magazine, where she served as the Associate Fashion News Editor. Holding a B.A in both English Literature and Art History from Barnard College, Columbia University, she's also gained her solid industry wide reputation by putting in time as an intern at both W Magazine and Women's Wear Daily.
