Ummm, I'm quite aware that people change their names in "this business."
I didn't say it was a big deal - I was merely stating a fact.

I also think she could have done better regarding the name change. L'Wren is so blatantly pretentious that only one who is very easily impressed would think it's a "damn good" name.

I just read an article about her being engaged to Mick Jagger and she immediately piqued my interest. She's a stylist, no? Does anybody know who she styles, specifically? I would love to be able to see her taste in clothes when dressing her clients.

She kinda reminds me of a brunette Nicole Kidman. I really like her style from the above pics. Nonchalant but still very chic.

If anybody has anymore pictures of her, please do post! Thanks!

Her real name is Luanne.
Luanne Bambrough, and I don't blame her for changing it since that sounds completely country bumpkin. I just wish she hadn't chosen something as dumb as L'Wren.

She styled Nicole Kidman's wedding recently (good job, Luanne!), but I also remember her designing the tacky white satin sausage-casing dress Mariah Carey wore to the Oscars in '99.

A little thread revival:

Rock star Mick Jagger and girlfriend L'Wren Scott attend the premiere of "Shine A Light," which features The Rolling Stones, in New York.

She looks better now, but her look isn't for me. I do think her line is quite nice, though horribly overpriced. You can really see the Victorian gothic influences in her work.

I agree HeatherAnne - they looked great. For awhile I was thinking, take your hand off your hip girl! But she somehow pulls off that sassy pose perfectly.

BTW, for anyone interested, there's a great feature on their Paris apartment in this month's American Vogue - they have a fabulous art collection.

I read an interview with her in Vogue and she seems like an interesting woman. I love how much taller she is than Mick - clothes look great on her!

I don't wanna be nice. I think it's clever to swear
