^ I've been wondering that as well. I see the phrase used around tFS occasionally, but I'm not entirely sure what it means.

and then your karma power increases depending on the number of karma points you have been given
it's all part of that wacko equation somehow..

we've been talking about a straightforward, 1 point per karma thing..
so if you have been given karma 58 times then you will have 58 karma points..

that hasn't been implemented yet, but let's hope that it does in the near future
Oh no, I like the wacky formula I mean, seriously, I like that I can give someone else a nice number of karma points!

Absolutely ... in case you haven't noticed, it really promotes positive behavior!

Correct ... it's just a way of saying thank you, I agree with that post, etc. The points mean nothing really ... as discussed at length earlier in this thead.

There is no such thing as "anonymous karma" in the system ... of you give it, it comes in your name.

That is strange! There are many people in the "What are you wearing today" thread who says thanks to all the anonymous karma donators.

Doesn't anybody know what it means? I am getting very curious :p

personally I've always thought the person was just confused when they see all these points and not as many comments, so they think they're getting more karma that people just aren't leaving comments for.

I think you're right ... I've gotten the idea that it was a bit tacky to thank people publically for it if they haven't said publically that they're giving it to you ...

You can only view your last 20 karma messages in User CP.

However, you can click the "Give karma" link in your own posts to see what karma has been left for that post, even if it has "fallen off" the User CP page.

My karma points dont seem to be increasing from the last 7/8 karma messages...!
Is there maybe a certain number of karma points you can get per post or something, as they were all from the same post...
