But ... members may change it in their UserCP's .... and it should stick as a permanent preference, until you change it again. I did that a while back and have been using another computer last week on a trip ... and then back home using my own computer today. It was the same in both places. So, try that.
Yup, I saved the preference in my UserCP. maybe it's because i'm behind a VPN at my work connection, who knows.

in profile privacy, we can set information to show to everyone, who is "everyone"? I can't see my profile if I'm not logging in.

Everyone = members who are logged in.

You can't see your own profile if you aren't logged in.

Tangerine,
I want to let you know that the delay problem is still there. ( 168)
Recently I notice it was fixed, but today i've seen another problem.
For example, some of the posts i've made today appear but some others don't.
The problem is starting to be very annoying...

[I'm surprised to be the only one (?) to report this problem]

Thanks.

It's the same thing. If they aren't logged in they can't see your profile.

If you only want friends to see your profile then set it for friends only.

Hi Tekka,

Clear your cookies, cache & restart your computer. That might help clear up the problem.

Otherwise... tang to the rescue please!

Thanks!

The developers and tech team are trying different settings to balance speedy member post search with fast database response to other queries (topic post searches, etc.) From my understanding, the member post search setting that has the ~3 hr. delay has been this way for a while. They tried speeding that up, but it caused other issues that were deemed to be bigger problems. If other members are not finding it an issue, which seems to be the case, then this may be the compromise that serves the community best. Either way, thanks for reporting, and the tech team will continue to monitor and evaluate the search optimization.

Are the tech team/developers aware of the font size being too big for some? It's so big and boisterous and I'm sick of zooming out on Safari.

it was way too small before, I had to strain my eyes to read it. I think this is their "fix" ... but I agree, it is a bit big, now.

They are reviewing this thread ... they will see your complaint ... and if numerous members complain, I think they will probable search for a happy medium in the font size.

I too think the default font size is too big. It would be great if it was minimized a little. Why can't it be the same as the one on the main page? That one looks fine to me (the ones below the black bar):

I'm using Firefox and the font size looks fine to me, whereas before it was tiny.

Generally, I love the cleaner layout. I just don't get the albums and group memberships.

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I would like to know if there is any option to get an auto-save content feature in this new forum programinig?
I had some troubles since it's redesigned, some posts were just gone for no reason whatsoever and it's pretty annoying. I doubt it's the problem of my browser (I'm using Safari on OS X) and I'm not the only one here.

Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with this new solution, because old design was definitely wrong on so many levels, it saw shameful for a first and the biggest fashion forum.
Just a note to all complaining we are not keeping the old, unmodern and very dated layout; we are not in '97 anymore.
As a hard-to-please (graphic) designer I don't have many complaints, but mostly I'm satisfied I don't have to change an awful font to Tahoma, like I did before. This is much better.

Thanks!
