RE: last page not loading. Here's what I heard from our vBulletin guru: this happens when the database servers are lagged. The thread counters don't get updated on all servers. If you load the thread from a server that hasn't been updated it doesn't have the last post information.

I have found that the problem resolves itself once all the servers get back in sync.

I don't know why, but whenever a user hotlinks an image from Facebook (is this allowed,btw?) I cannot see it at all. This mainly happens in the magazines forum and I can't figure out why the image doesn't show up for me. I'm using Google Chrome.

Many sites delete images or change their links after a short time, causing hotlinked images to disappear, which may be happening with Facebook. Moderators will remove the posts for dead links if we see them, and you can also report the post to bring it to our attention.

Hotlinking isn't technically against the rules, but we definitely frown upon it. We also may decide to give a reminder to a user if we notice them doing it frequently and have to spend a lot of time cleaning up their dead links.

I don't think the links are dead though, because people are commenting on them! That's what puzzles me.

I can see it and I am using IE9 with my compatibility enabled.

That is not hotlinked to the facebook account, I don't think. At least when I went to the URL, it's just a photo by it'self. Either way .... it's hosted here: http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...61194593_n.jpg

Sometimes ... in the past I've had this problem. I found that if I were to right click on the image and get the URL (properites) and enter that into my browser and go to the actual photo, when I go back to the thread it usually would download. That was with a really old computer with an ancient browser .... so not sure if that might help or not.

But ... it seems to be a problem at your end ... not ours.

not relevant much, but it is hotlinked from the fb - notice the fbcdn in the url - that's fb's code. pics open up on their own when just the URL's are put despite of them being on a fb page.

i also can't see pics that are hotlinked from the sky sites (news ones), but it's not that big of a issue.

I had just noticed this today that my details such as name, favorite bands/website and so forth are not showing up on my profile. When I check the User CP, the information hasn't been lost though and all of it is still there.

Then I realized that this is also happening to other users' profiles. Can this be fixed? Thank you for reading!
