I would like to build a licensing map, i.e. who manufactures for which brand (eg IT Holding for Ferré, CNC, etc.). I think I’ve seen a thread like this in the past but I'm not able to find it with the search tool. If it doesn’t exist yet, under which forum shall I publish this new thread “Licensing Map”? thanks,

Welcome to the Fashion Spot, gretaconstantine! I'm sorry you are not getting a great response here so probably anyone who may know, just hasn't come on this forum. So ... I thought I'd jump in an help as much as I could.

I did an advanced search of all of the forums using McQueen and Givency as keywords and specified only thread titles and came up with 5 pages of threads. That is because we do a thread for each collection and then there are accessories, vintage, bags and lot's or other areas where they are discussed... and both designers are very popular here. Also, our Search function (even Advanced) does not do a really highly defined search. Here's a link to those 5 pages .. you might want to peruse these and see what you think.

In a day or two, I'll be merging this thread with the brand new (today) "Help Me Find a Thread" thread .... since we are now going to group all these types of requests together.

Hi hunbuns,

I am struggled about showing my fashion sketches to every one. Actually, I have my forum where I show my fashion sketches, crafts, etc... I'm not sure if it's a good idea to put my fashion sketches in my forum 'cause someone would steal my project. I do not know how to copyright, but I am sure I will have to pay for it, eh...

What's your suggestion?

Of course you can show your work here... but yes... you're right.. people can take the images you post. You can post your sketches in the following threads.

I'm not sure exactly what you want to post regarding your future... if it has to do with your education or career we have a specific forum for that. If it is something else we have many threads in Heart & Soul where you can post about things that are more personal. Guests cannot view the H&S Forum so most of our members feel comfortable posting there about personal things.
