I hope it is OK to ask this here, but I have a problem downloading pics from Imageupper: whenever I click on a thumbnail I get this error: (113) No route to host or (110) Connection timed out. Does anyone know what it means/how I can fix it?
Thank in advance...
Most likely, ImageUpper is down at the moment. Try again in a few hours.
If this always happens ... perhaps you are using the wrong code or too much or too little of their code. Can you post what you are using? Maybe someone else who uses ImageUpper can review it and see if there is an error .....
It's been doing this to me for a few days. I'm using chrome on a mac (it also doesn't work on safari). It says the connection failed. What do you mean by code?
I mean the code or URL that you have to type into our system to make it work. Some hosting sites have several different codes that they use for different reasons, one for forums, a different one for blogs, another for thumbnails, etc. I've never used ImageUpper so I don't know how they want you to do it.
Sometimes you can just copy the the actual URL after you open the photo over there, and paste that into our box (when you click the photo icon, above). Just depends on the hosting site .....
So ... it worked for you before ... you've posted pictures from them sucessfully before? Probably you haven't changed what you are doing ... so most likely the issue is at their end. I'd contact them to find out if there's a problem there.
My problem is with opening thumbnails, and imageupper in general. I don't host images there, I use photobucket. I think it is the new internet server I use.
Oh sorry ... I thought you meant you had trouble posting images ... that's what this thread is about.
The problem is most likely at your end, since no one else is reporting this issue.
Our tech person told us (somewhere, several months ago) about something that might cause the problem in your system. If Imageupper is an older site, using older technology .... sometimes the new browsers are no longer compatable until the site updates.
If that's the case, there's probably some sort of setting in your new browser that you can set when you visit these old sites to make your browser compatible. Unfortunately, I have IE on a PC so I can't direct you. But take a look around your settings and see if you can find it ... compatibility.
Hi guys. I have problems uploading files from my computer but it's fine when I upload pics from internt though. Maybe someone can help me with that. Here are all the hostiings I've tried: postimage, imageshack, image upper, imgur, imagebam.
Can you give us a step by step of what you are doing, what tools your are using on tFS, please? And are you getting any messages from tFS when you try? If so what does the message say? If not, what happens ... do you get a tiny box with a red x?
OH ... just so you know, we do not allow anyone to use ImageBam (nor ImageHaven, nor ImageVenue) because porn ads pop up all the time. See this thread for more information about your responsibilty when using any site to host your pictures to download to tFS: Hosting Images on Sites that feature Porn Ads ... Not Allowed!
Yeah, I know that it's forbidden to use imagebam I just tried all image hostings I knew.
Anyway I got it fixed today, I think the problem was my computer not TFS or any of those hostings.
Sorry for bothering and thanks for your intention to help!
is it ok to post nude pictures on image upper if I have to select "images contain nudity"? chances are that porn pops ups will appear...
do you have an specific host for nudity?

Please avoid hosting on sites that will, or probably will generate porn popups on the Fashion Spot.
