No. It was just a picture of her at a Valentino show at the end of a runway, I didn't see any nudity on the picture at all

Ha ha, that's obvious. But if they'll take money from a face-sitting site they'll take money from anyone. I'm saying they are scraping bottom with their ads; you don't have to agree.

I'd be interested in finding a host who doesn't display adult ads either, and allows for some tasteful nudity as well as images over 1MB in size. I'm having the hardest time finding a good place to upload my scans to - TFS attachments are not an option with limited space, Tinypic don't offer the thumbnails, uploading them to my own webspace always gets me in trouble with mods over 'hotlinking', and so on.

ImageBam is ideal with Multi-Upload features and giving me the code for all images in one go, making it so much faster to post stuff - but I don't like knowing others get to see those ads (I've got AdBlock though). Sigh. Sharevenue was great before it went bust!

I can't think of any reason for images over 1Mb.

In fact, I can't think of any reason for images to be over 100Kb.

Well, I create my scans in HQ, and I prefer to post them in that size, people can downsize them later if they want (but the other way around, you can't upsize them). Makes for better desktop wallpapers, etc - plus you can see more details and so on. I'm sure I'm not the only person who prefers HQ to MQ.

But anyway - off topic!

I don't know if that happend to anyone else, but when I open pics(I don't know which site it is)and before opening the pic it says
"Click in 4 seconds"and than when I click, one window always pop-ups and it's called "Ameteur Porn Sex" and the video is starting.
I never saw what's in video, but I assume it's something like bad and I hate that that window always pops up.
I have Mozilla and addblock installed but I use Opera becouse it's easier to me and I'm used to it,and Opera doesn't have addblocker.
And now, becouse It really starts to make me nervous I'm thinking about stop using Opera, but before that I wanted to ask if someone has the same problem and is there any way to block it.

^I can't block it either, like I always know that everytime I click on "Click on this to continue" I get that window w/that site when it's opening I click on the "X" & close it before it actually opens totally.

Anyone finds that imagevenue is becoming worse with advertisments I also think I'm getting a lot of viruses from there and it also leads you to some stupid website which is probably secretely downloading some virus Anyone else have this problem?

I find imagebam is perfectly fine and I have a strong ad blocker so I don't have any of these problems people are talking about...I want to ask people stop using imagevenue but I doubt that will change anything

I've stopped using imagevenue. Not only because of the porn ads, also because my last, like 4 big uploads failed.
An upload of 10 files failing after you've been waiting and waiting+porn ads =goddbye imagevenue.

^I rather prefer that people upload images to imagevenue & get with that stupid site than images that were uploaded on imageshack...imageshack takes ages to load an image!

Yeah, ImageShack bugs the hell out of me too lol. None of them are perfect, really - seems like a big hole in the market to me!

ImageBam was very promising for a while there, and it'd still be my favorite out of all of them...but the porn ads bug me. Especially when I post Family-Safe content and people still report seeing them!

Convincing people to use other image hosting websites would be tough, as you mentioned, so I'd recommend you stop viewing images hosted on ImageVenue. By this I mean you shouldn't continue to click on the thumbnails, as this will simply lead to further problems. Of course, you may miss out on seeing the full size of some images, but I'd rather not be able to see a photograph than have viruses downloaded to my computer.

In addition ... if you are hosting nude images at ImageShack, they absolutely don't allow them. I'm not talking porn here ... they get all riled up about nudes and semi nudes in fashion editorials. And then they ban every image hosted on Imageshack that is here on tFS ... every image, not just the nude ones and it totally disrupts the threads with a host of gold frogs all over the place, instead of our members' images. It's a total breakdown when they do that. Then we have to have the management here contact the management there and assure them that all the nude images have been deleted and that we won't do it again (really hard to control over 50,000 active members).

And this is exactly why our members are not allowed to use imageshack to host nude/semi nude or even implied nude images there and post them here.

A reminder for anyone who does not know this ... The Announcement at the top of Supporting Cast and Behind the Lens: Updated community rules: NO hosting of nude images at Imageshack
