I posted yesterday a outfit picture in the what are you wearing today topic. Some how my post has been deleted. I wanted to know why?

Your post was deleted for this reason: "Dead Link". You should have received a PM from the sytem that advised you of this ... but it's possible that the moderator disabled the PM for some reason.

Whenever you need to know about something that was removed or edited, just PM any moderator for that forum (in this case you could PM a Personal Style Moderator) and the mod will look into it for you.

"Dead Link" means the the link to your photo is not working and so we cannot see the photo at all.

The link you posted is to this: http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg614/sca...=640&ysize=640 . All that was left behind in your post was a marker that says "This Photo has been removed" ... which means it was removed at Imageshack, not at tFS.

Members cannot edit their posts after 10 minutes, so you could not go back and re-enter the URL however, if the post has been deleted, you are more than free to re-post the image if the URL works

One of my posts was deleted for "improper correct" but I think it was well credited. (wwd) unless wwd is no longer a reliable source or something like that.
There is also this post that was deleted for using a "porn host" but I don't use image host other than imageshack.us If any mod wants to check these post and tell me exactly what I did wrong so I can fix / repost correctly and not do it again. (actually now I remember I might have hot linked from blogspot so yeah )

Your first link takes me to a post that is credited (though not to wwd) and the post is still there, it has not been deleted. Please check to make sure that you put the right link, as I do not see any issue here.

Your second link does go to a deleted post, which I have reviewed. The image you posted is not there, instead there is a placeholder image saying it was deleted by imageshack because it violated the terms of service or a member requested it be removed. If the image contained any nudity whatsoever, it is in violation of Imageshack's TOS, and it is strictly against the rules of tFS as well, as explained in this announcement:

(Credited as purple-diary) but I think the post with http://29.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_li...p47ho1_400.jpg this picture was deleted and it was the one credited as wwd which is the one I think was deleted (It was on the same page if I remember correctly) by the way,I just checked my inbox and that is the link it refers me too I think there might be a problem with that because once I got a notification of a deleted post and the link they gave me took me here and I wasn't on TFS around that time

I see,so the reason the second one was deleted was more or less dead link and nudity not allowed on the image hoster I used?I see,my bad.no problem with that then.

Maybe it was deleted in error, generating the PM, and then the mod realized the credit was there and restored it... just guessing here. I will try to get to the bottom of it, though.

A post of mine was deleted in the "Natasha Poly Gets Married" thread, it was just a sentence or two and it was not an earth-shattering comment, so in that respect it is not a big deal, but I have an issue with the reason given: "Flaming/Disrespect/Harassment" because that was not the intent which was clear given the post that was quoted and also a previous post I made (although I would not expect someone to know or look into my previous posts). Furthermore I am flabbergasted, FLABBERGASTED that my post and the one I was quoting got deleted and yet other really awful and mean-spirited posts remain.

agee, your post was found to be offensive by several moderators as well as members at large. I don't understand how you cannot see that your remark could easily be considered disrespectful and distasteful.

If there are other posts you think are problematic, you may report them using the report post link under the user's profile to the left of the post. Moderators will evaluate reported posts and decide if action needs to be taken.

I suggest on behalf of the mod team that if you have an issue with moderating, you contact a moderator or mod team leader. If you wish to address it publicly, you will receive a public response.

The comment was really not intended to be offensive but at the time my mindset was that I was posting on a comment that referred to him and her as handsome and pretty respectively and my own previous comment, "I agree that we should not comment negatively about a model's [loved one's] appearance, but I don't even get how he is unattractive... he looks good [to me]" which was one of the first, if not the first post to express that sentiment. However if people found it offensive then I am glad that it was deleted. As far as how you "don't understand how [I ] cannot see that [my] remark could easily be considered disrespectful and distasteful," again consider my aforementioned mindset and numerous comments in that thread with yuck and sick smilies and even kinder comments along the lines of "beauty being in the eye of the beholder" and "well as long as she is happy."

I think that it is deep... very deep... very, very deep that the "post was found to be offensive by several moderators as well as members at large" and yet other comments in that thread were not, the only thing that I can think of that differentiates that post is that a comment was made about the model herself and I consider myself a modelphile, but woah at the stan-ism that that reaction implies, basically you cannot refer to a model as a pretty simian or to her being associated with a (camp) classic film, but you can make awful comments about the non-industry / non-celebrity guy who falls in love with her and the other poor guys who share his name and have the misfortune of popping up in a google search, that's real deep. As far as reporting that post, there are mod comments in that thread and they are in and around some of the posts that I am referring to and also the thread is a spin off of the model's thread and negative comments about guy(s) who were mis-identified as the man in question were brought over, so even though I found those comments offensive and cringe-worthy, I assumed that I needed to get over my squeamishness on that front.
