You can disable the notification.

Open Your user CP (link on upper bar)
Select edit options from the left side menu
Scroll down the the messaging and notifications section and uncheck "Receive Email Notification of New Profile Comments"

You can also change other notification options in this section, if desired.
When you are finished, scroll all the way down and hit "save changes"

There is no such text. The only thing I have checked is this:

From time to time, the administrators may want to send you email notices.

If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option. Receive Email from Administrators

^ I have my thread update notification disabled, and it wasn't working, I was still getting them. The volume of e-mail was HUGE, so I had to block tFS on my e-mail account to take care of it. That worked ...

Suggestion ... I know the "Report post" is just for really important stuff. Sometimes there's a minor request, and right now we don't have a way to flag them except to comment in the thread, "Could a moderator please ..." Sometimes it takes a long time for anyone to notice these random comments. If there were a way to send something to a low-priority queue, that would be really helpful ...

I wanted to add an 160 x 80 avatar, but I get this message:

You just answered your own question.^ The max is 80 by 80...you tried to add a 160x80 avatar

I was wondering if there was a way to stop it completely instead of having to unsubscribe to each thread because it gets irritating. It only started happening recently.

Im taking care of it now, Moments. You seem to be marked to "subscribe with no notification" in the Automatic Subscription section ... and I think that is causing it. PM me if that does not fix it for you.
