Two of my posts in the Paris Street Style thread were deleted because of failure to credit.

I always credit my posts. The credits were at the bottom next to the date like this: June 28, 2009 / style and the city. Can they be re-posted as a moderator checks it or should I go ahead and re-post them myself?

Ah ^

Remember crediting rules have changed since last year
We are to post the full URL
--no links, and no abbreviations
If you remove http:// or www it keeps it from turning into a link.

for example "style.com" instead of just "style"
vogue.co.uk instead of vogue
modelhommes.com instead of MH

How can I do a link in my signature without posting the full url, for example people put "Twitter" or "Blog" in their signature and then it links to a site. Thank you!

[ URL="http://twitter.com/USERNAME"]Twitter[/URL ]

Status: Online

There's another option I normally use.

then paste the link to your twitter account or to your blog.

I hope this is the right place to ask...
Is talking about plastic surgery considered "weight talk"? I´ve noticed that in at least two occasions when someone mentioned Diane Kruger´s breast implants the comments have been removed.

It depends, but we usually remove them for off-topic discussion, because we consider plastic surgery talk is not relevant to one's career/style.

I've been trying to use this image as my avatar, but it's not working properly.

Source: Wikipedia

It's supposed to have a transparent background like it does here, but when I try to use it as my avatar, it always has a white background. Can I do anything differently to fix that?

Maybe there is something you can do in Photoshop if you are good at manipulating images ...maybe you can insert a background color to match the avatar background, which would have the same effect as being transparent.

But there's nothing we can do here, at tFS to change the background of our avatars ... we are on vBulletin with a preset template.

I can't see a member's posts. No issue on my end that I can see. Have I been put on that member's ignore list or something?

That is the most likely possibilty ... however we cannot see members' "ignore lists" so we can not confirm this for you. If that is the case, that is something that they have chosen and this means that this person does not want to have any contact with you.

This might be a good opportunity to consider how your communications are being taken by a stranger.

I don't know how you are in the forums and in messages that you leave, but it's important to remember that this is a fashion forum first and foremost, and we ask that our members stay respectful with each other and stay on topic ... fashion!

Members who argue too much, upset other members or who might be perceived as harassing or stalking other members, will loose their membership. So, assess the situation and make adjustments, if necessary.

^I thought so. I know exactly why it happened too; one dumb and inappropriate joke that, if directed at one of my closer Internet friends, would have just been laughed off, but when directed at someone who I'm not very close to despite talking with them several times, could have been very easily interpreted negatively. I don't blame that person at all for ignoring me. I deserve it. Thanks for the explanation.
