New Sneaker Subforum - Give us your thoughts!
We are debating adding a sneaker sub-forum to Shoes, Shoes, Shoes and want to know your thoughts! Would you make use of this sub-forum or find it useful to have the all the sneaker/trainer topics gathered together? Please feel free to post your comments on this below!

I don't visit any of the sneaker threads, but anything to help organize a forum is a good move in my eyes!

mine too...I used to be a BIG fan of the trainer, (which is what we in 'Sunny' London call them), in my younger days growing up on the streets through the 80's and 90's...since then I find it hard to wear them, although it hasn't stopped me from buying !!. my most recent purchase were a pair of, (limited edition reissue), 1976 Diadora Borg. I have always been a fool for shoes...just can't seem to resist the draw of new footwear...the smell, the box....for me they are the most important item of the outfit.

I would love it. We actually have a lot of members that are strictly into sneakers. This will give them a chance to hang out and interact with those alike. I used to really be into sneakers and am getting back into them again, I am sure the sub-forum will push me into buying a new pair of dunks

Such a great idea! I've seen a lot of new 'dunks' and sneakers (McQueen sneakers<3) that are to die for! They have also been popping up a lot in editorials and designers are taking notice of the market... If there was any time to create a subforum for it, it would be now!

adding a subforum = no problem!
but finding sneaker mods when our current shoex3 mods are primarily heel ladies = will take a bit of time..

TOTALLY FOR IT

i mean between the converse, (oldschool) nike, spring court, superga, etc and the designer sneakers by Pierre Hardy, Lanvin, (the new) Louis Vuitton, etc.. we would have lots to talk about!!

This is not the sneaker forum , Vickycookie ... it's just a poll about whether or not we will start one in the future.

But you'll be able to ask that when we do start the new forum ... but it's still a ways off. We have to assign and train a couple of moderators first.
