I beleive the the premium membership may renew automatically ... so you should check that.

Otherwise, the avatar shrinks ... at least that is what I've seen to a couple of people.

^ No, from my experience the premium memberships do not renew automatically. My avatar didn't shrink, either, but my custom user title disappeared and the next time I went to change my avatar, the maximum size was 80x80 instead of 160x80. My avatar now seems so small in comparison to others!

^So if you don't go to change your avatar ever you get to keep on having a large one even though your membership ran out?

^ I'm not sure if the large avatar stays forever, but I kept mine for a month or so after the membership ended and it didn't shrink, even when my custom user title disappeared. I'd guess that it wouldn't change unless you tried to upload a new avatar.

My membership expired today, but my customized title hasn't reverted. Do I get to keep it indefinitely? And it looks like I won't be changing my avatar for a while, either!

Not sure ... things have changed slightly with Premium Memberships since we got bought out.

Do me a favor ... if you would, please?

Check to make sure that you do not get charged tonight for another year Premium Membership .... it used to be automatic, as long as you had the same paypal account with money in it. It seems like it does not do that autmatically anymore, but I'd like you to check anyway ... and I have no way of checking from here.

Then let's see what happens .... if it does not charge you. There is the possibility that you will keep the larger avatar if you don't do anything, but if you try to change it you might be limited to a regular size. Some people have seen it change and some have said it stayed the same ... if you look through this thread. I really don't know what will happen.

^I haven't been charged (yet at least). I did get an email saying "If you do not renew your premium membership by making another donation your account will roll back to the standard membership level." So I don't think it renews itself anymore. Thanks for your help!

When my account expired, my custom title didn't change back to the plain ol' "V.I.P." for a few weeks, maybe less, and it came as a total surprise. I too was under the impression that I'd be able to keep my custom title forever, but I guess not!

Is it only payable by PayPal ? I do not have a pay pal account but I do have a credit card... When I go to the pay method it only comes up with pay pal... Is there no other way??
