The ad run is problably over ... I haven't seen it in a couple of days either. They only last a few weeks then are gone ... which is the good news.
But it did sound like there might have been a glich. Let us know if it happens again ... be sure to get a screen cap of it and tell us what city you are in ..... it's needed so the tech people who put up the ads can replicate the problem in order to fix it.
A couple of things to know:
- the ads change every few weeks, so it will get better soon. But then it gets worse with other new ads, sometimes. Sort of a repeat problem.
-there is a second drop down menu for "search" on the bottom nav bar .... installed by tech support for this exact reason.
okay, the nordstrom rack ad that opens on EVERY SINGLE PAGE is super annoying. it's a little much.
Yes this! I never post in here and I understand the need for ads in terms of financially supporting the site, but this is obnoxious and annoying! Every single link you click it covers the entire page until you close it. Over the top and if you have any control over stopping it, please do! Please. If not I might just wait a few days before visiting again. Hopefully they will finish with it soon...

Good things come to those who shop.
Not sure if it's tech glich or not .... but I reported it and asked if they could slow it down some, so that we don't have to click through it every time we click.
Someone asked this a long time ago, and I think we determined that they just had adware loaded to their moblile device. That can come from anywhere and it will activate when you try to access your most commonly used sites ... so it's probably not us.
But ... if others are getting it too ... then it might be our ad and I can ask about it.
So .. anyone else ... are you getting this redirect to gotfreebies.org on you mobile?
It's sort of like a virus ... it's a program that gets installed into your computer, without you knowing about it. You can pick it up on any site you might visit. And it can take control of your computer and redirects you to their site or it just forces an ad to pop up at random times when you are on line. I'm not knowlegeable about mobile devices, but for your desk top or lap top computer, there are anti adware/spyware/virus programs you should buy and install ... to prevent this from happening. They scan your system to seek out these sneak programs and delete them.
If I want to "Search" something, the ad goes right over the Search bar so you can't type anything.
If I want to go to a certain page of a thread, the ad goes right over the page numbers so I can't skip to a certain page.
^ If you go to the exact sub-forum [if you know it], the search bar might work.
Anyone else getting bombarded by Clinique ads that are alternating between covering the the top 1/2 and then the bottom 1/2 of your screen, ridiculous.
